Beaching it up at the Surf Shack Part II

Come on Adeline, don't you want to join my princess party because you know I am a princess...  Gina told Anna that she looked glamorous.  Anna replied, I am not glamorous, I AM A PRINCESS!!

These next photos are from our last night on the beach.  I so wish we would have thought to go to the beach in the evening beforehand.  It was perfect for the kids and less stress for the adults.

After this trip, an anger management course may be in store for sweet Anna Kate...  She makes a lot of angry faces:

Beaching it up at the Surf Shack Part I

We returned to San Destin this year.  No new additions, besides JD to the crew, so our trip went a little smoother.  We enjoyed the beach, pool, bikes, and spending time together.  We stayed at a place called the Smith Surf Shack and it was great!  An ideal beach house for kids.  It was steps from the pool and was stocked with games and activities.  

Anna and Silas have been taking swim lessons and they were much more comfortable in the pool.  I think Ella and Alexa also helped given they can both swim well.  Anna loved the ocean, but Silas wasn't much on the salty water.  Anna dreams of becoming a mermaid and I believe she thought she might sprout a tail.
