We hosted Jennifer's baby shower. We can't wait to meet baby Amos! Anna and Silas had a lot of fun helping her with the presents. We are so sad she will no longer be our nanny, but we are happy for the blessing of a new addition to their family.

Christmas 2010
We traveled to Cincinnati for Christmas! We flew after what happened on our Thanksgiving trip. I was so thankful Anna did not cry on the flight. Much more expensive, but much more pleasant than driving. We stayed at the Westin and had a view of fountain square. Silas and Anna loved watching the ice skaters. We went to see the train exhibit, which I went to every year growing up. Silas and Anna had a lot of fun playing with their cousins. We also got to see baby Emilie!
Santa came before we left!!

Photo Shoot Attempt
I scheduled a photographer in November. She had to cancel and reschedule due to contractions. On the rescheduled date she gave birth. I don't have the best luck with photographers. It was late in the game to find another photographer for Christmas photos, so I attempted to do it myself. I took a few, but the kids kept having meltdowns. I was glad that a week later, a new photographer in town met us for a photo shoot. Who takes outside pictures in December... I guess we do. We had to defrost after the session, but the photos turned out great.

Thanksgiving 2010
What a trip!!!! I know that we will fly to Cincinnati for Christmas. Sweet baby Anna has decided she hates the car and screeched most of the trip to Paducah. Once there, we had a great time! We had fun at Nanny's and were able to see all of Daddy's family! Christmas came early at Grandmom's and GP's house.
Now, I thought the ride home had to be better. Nope!! The whole family caught a GI bug and I was unlucky enough to develop symptoms on the ride home. It can't always be smooth sailing.
